04 — Terms of use
What this website commits to — and what it does not
By using this website, you accept these terms. Its content presents our work as general information: it is neither an offer nor a contractual commitment. We take care that it is accurate, without being able to guarantee it is free of errors, and may change it at any time.
Fees
This website does not publish any rates. Our fees are set, for each project, in a written architect’s contract signed before our services begin, in accordance with the code of professional conduct: only that contract is binding as to price, scope and timing. The first meeting is free and without obligation.
Projects shown
Projects are published with the agreement of their clients. Some are shown under a working name and without an address, to protect their privacy. Three-dimensional views are illustrations based on the drawings; they are not contractual. Photographs show the projects as built.
Credits

05 — Intellectual property
Copyright
All content on this website — texts, photographs, drawings, plans, axonometric views, layout and code — belongs to BOST Architecture or its rights holders and is protected by copyright.
Any reproduction, representation or adaptation, in whole or in part, on any medium, is prohibited without prior written permission. Publishing a project on this website does not transfer any rights.
Some resources are used under open licences: the Archivo and IBM Plex Mono typefaces (SIL Open Font License), and textures and vegetation in the three-dimensional images (Poly Haven, CC0 licence).
06 — Personal data
Your data
BOST Architecture, whose details appear in section 01, is the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018.
What this website collects
This website is static: there is no form, no user account and no audience measurement tool. Only two kinds of processing take place.
- Server logs. Our host automatically records, for each page served, your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser. These logs are used solely for the operation and security of the website.
- Your messages. If you write to info@bostarchitecture.com or call us, we process the data you give us: name, contact details and the content of your request.
Why, and on what basis
- Server logs
- Security and proper operation of the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- Your messages
- Answering your request and, where relevant, preparing a contract — pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR)
No data is used for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
Who has access
Your data is never sold, rented or transferred. Only BOST Architecture and our host Combell, as technical processor, have access to it. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. It is disclosed to a third party only when required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long
- Server logs
- Deleted by the host through automatic rotation once no longer needed for diagnosis and security — from a few days to a few weeks
- Enquiries with no follow-up
- Deleted at the latest 12 months after the last contact
- Client files
- Kept for the duration of the assignment, then for the limitation periods applying to the architect’s liability — up to 10 years after acceptance of the works
Images
If you appear in a photograph on this website and would like it removed, write to info@bostarchitecture.com: we will remove it as soon as possible.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restrict or object to its processing, or ask for its portability. Simply write to info@bostarchitecture.com; we reply within one month. BOST Architecture is not required to appoint a data protection officer.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — contact@apd-gba.be — dataprotectionauthority.be.
07 — Cookies and storage
No cookies, nothing to accept
This website sets no cookies at all: no technical, analytics or advertising cookies. That is why you are not shown a consent banner.
Nothing is loaded from a third-party server: typefaces, images and code are served from our own domain. No social networks, no embedded videos, no analytics tools.
One thing remembered: your language
When you choose a language, your browser remembers it (local storage, key “bost-lang-choix”, value fr, nl, en or tr) so that the website opens in that language on your next visit. This information stays on your device, is never sent to our servers and cannot identify you. As it is strictly necessary for a function you requested yourself, no consent is required. You can delete it at any time by clearing this website’s data in your browser.
Link to a map
The “Studio” link opens OpenStreetMap in a new tab, where OpenStreetMap’s own privacy policy applies.
08 — Accessibility
A website everyone can read
We make sure this website remains readable and usable by everyone: real text rather than images of text, sufficient contrast, alternative text for images. As a micro-enterprise that does not sell online, BOST Architecture is not subject to the obligations of the European Accessibility Act. If any content is still difficult for you, write to info@bostarchitecture.com and we will send it to you in another form.
09 — External links
Third-party websites
This website links to a few third-party websites: the Order of Architects, public authorities, mapping services. We do not control their content and cannot be held responsible for it.
